The classical adiabatic theorems relate the spectral projections of self-adjoint operators to the solutions to time-dependent Schrödinger equations. In this thesis we present a new adiabatic theorem that expresses the section determinants of the spectral projections by means of the solution to a Wiener-Hopf equation.
