Welcome to my website. I am Lichtenberg-Professor of Philosophy at Ruhr-Universität Bochum with a research focus on Consciousness and Cognition.


I am leading a Junior Research Group con-cerned with major topics in Philosophy of Mind and the foundations of Cognitive Science.


From 2014-2019 I will be working on a project called ,Situated Cognition. Perceiving the World and Understanding other minds.‘


This is funded by the Volkswagen Foundation.
