Transportation and Parking

Bar-Ilan University is situated in the Ramat Gan and Bnei Brak area, on the borders of the cities of Giv'at Shmuel and Kiryat Ono. Despite being located outside of the crowded urban center, it is still in a central location and very easy to reach by car or public transportation.

Participants who arrive by car should get car permit. Please send a request to arkadius.kalka@rub.de or directly to the Mathematics Department secretary.

For German participants staying at Hotel Melody we arrranged a bus shuttle service to the University and back.
The shuttle bus starts every day at 8:55am (except for Wednesday) from Hotel Melody and leaves the math Department at 5:45 pm (except for Wednesday and Friday).
Since the ENI lectures start later, on Wednesday the shuttle bus starts first at 9:45am from Melody. On Wednesday eve the bus takes you from Brain Research Center at 5:10 pm to Museum HaAretz and drops you there for the Wolf prize Ceremony and continue to the hotel (for those not interested in the Wolf ceremony).
On Friday the shuttle bus leaves BIU at 11:40 am, so that the guests will be back for lunch in the hotel.

Arrival from Ben Gurion airport to your hotel.
Take a taxi or the train. The airport train station is reachable by foot inside arrival hall of terminal 3. Take a northbound train to Tel Aviv. The ticket price will be about 13 NIS. Then you will have to take a bus or taxi.
Or you take a taxi directly from the airport. It is recommended to take an official taxi which are lining up on the left of the exit from the arrival hall. Furthermore, it is recommended to urge the taxi driver to use the taxameter.
