Hello, and welcome to my page!
My name is Sam Taziaux, and I am a PhD student at the Ruhr University Bochum, where I am currently researching the Cosmic ray signatures of dwarf galaxies. My passion for physics began in 2016 when I started my undergraduate studies, and since then, I have been dedicated to expanding my knowledge in this fascinating field.
Aside from my academic pursuits, I also have a strong love for music. In my free time, you can often find me producing beats or playing my bass guitar. I find that music allows me to express my creativity in a different way and provides a much-needed balance to the rigorous demands of my studies.
Thanks to my academic training, I am able to quickly grasp complex situations, distinguish between important and unimportant information, break down tasks into main and sub-components, identify potential problems, obstacles and ultimately find solutions to achieve desired objectives.
Through my passion for creating music, I have learned over the years to be curious and open-minded towards new ideas while also displaying persistence to see projects through to completion. The flexibility and fluidity in my thinking process allow me to generate a large number of ideas.
Through volunteering to work in a Kita, I was able to further develop my empathetic skills and improve my communication abilities. As a result, I am able to remain calm even in stressful situations and resolve problems without conflict.
