• VIM (VI Improved) syntax highlighting for the program TDA (Transition Data Analysis):
  • The syntax file is tda.vim. This is the initial version, which is currently very simple and incomplete. Commands, variable names, comments and numbers will be highlighted, but not the command's options; filenames may be displayed quite colorful (please publish any improvements you may achieve). Save the file as ~/.vim/syntax/tda.vim
  • Add the following to ~/.vim/filetype.vim:

    augroup filetypedetect
    au BufNewFile,BufRead *.tda	setf tda
    augroup END
    			

  • Files with the extension .tda should now be highlighted automatically. To use these highlighting rules with any file, open it in vim and issue the command :set filetype=tda
     
• here is a patch against the mlcd 0.6.0.1 kernel module, to make it work under linux kernel 2.2. copy it to your mlcd source directory, gunzip it and apply with patch -p1 -b < mlcd.diff
