Yan Chen received the B.E. degree in Information Engineering and the Ph.D. degree in Information and Communication Engineering from China University of Mining and Technology, China, in 2016 and 2022. He is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher with Ruhr University Bochum, Bochum, Germany. He is also a senior researcher with the ICTFICIAL Oy, Espoo, Finland. From December 2020 to December 2021, he was also a visiting Ph.D. student at Aalto University, Finland. He was also a postdoctoral researcher in Zhejiang Lab, China from 2022 to 2024. His research interests include Edge Computing, Internet of Things, Network Intelligence, and Multi-agent Systems. He has authored more than 20 peer-reviewed research papers in leading international journals and conference proceedings. He served as the TPC member of EAI QSHINE 2023. He has also served as a reviewer for top venues such as Proceedings of the IEEE, IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing, IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics, IEEE Transactions on Service Computing, IEEE Internet of Things Journal, and IEEE Transactions on Network and Service Management.
