This combination would be ideal for touring bikes, if the clamp would take grooved drop bars!!! The grooved drop bars are mostly oval and therefore to wide for the clamp!!!

The drive train may be outdated, but lasts quite long! 7speed is quite insensible for dirt, UG-sprockets are symmetrical and could be turned around when worn from the second sprocket on. The Barcons with indexfree option are also worth considering. A dream would be a middle chainring made from stainless steel, that could be turned around when worn! Also lasts the Sachs-Chain not even half the mileage a Rohloff SLT 99 does!!!
