Rudolf Fuechslin is a biophysicist with experience in reconfigurable systems. He gained his PhD at the University of Zurich in theoretical solid state physics in 1997. He is a co-founder of MEDInnovation and member of the supervisory board. From 1999-2008, he has worked in McCaskill's group BioMIP, firstly at the GMD (later FhG) then at RUB with emphasis on the dynamics of complex biochemical systems, as head of the simulation group.
