
Volker Patzke is a bioorganic chemist with experience in self-replicating systems and oligonucleotide chemistry. He finished his PhD at the Ruhr-University-Bochum and joined the BioMIP Team from 2007-2009. In his postdoctoral fellowship in the PACE project he worked on the development of chemical systems towards an artificial cell with focus on the application of self-replication in microfluidics. He is now working in von Kiedrowski's department at the Ruhr-Universität Bochum in the ECCell project.
