stochastic diffusive Heinrich models

The Heinrich model assumes that the fusion and delivery properties of vesicles can be captured via the mean population averages of their snare concentrations, and that the discrete nature of vesicle transport does not affect the differentiation result. Stochastic simulations of stochastic diffusive models are investigated here in 2D and 3D to explore these effects using a Brownian dynamics implementation of reaction and diffusion.
